We have limited room for more resident admissions, but for those seeking a living, loving, and learning environment, we hope to make the process as quick and easy as possible and to provide support and help whenever needed.

The Angelus accepts referrals from professional and non-professional sources. While professionals are an important referral source, we welcome family and self-referrals as well.
The most important thing about our admissions process is to ensure that The Angelus is the right environment for the potential resident and that he or she is a good fit for our program. We know that it is a difficult and stressful process for families seeking a comfortable home for their loved ones, and they feel a mix of hope and concern. Whenever possible, we welcome prospective clients and families to tour our facility to address their concerns and feel confident in their understanding of the unique place that is The Angelus.

The purpose of the assessment interview is to allow our Director of Admissions to determine if the applicant meets The Angelus basic criteria for admission.
Additionally, the interview aids in identifying specific programs and services that cater to the individual's needs and desires.
The Angelus facilities tour provides an opportunity for the applicant and his or her family to visit The Angelus facilities, meet our loving and professional staff, and address any questions or concerns. The tour also provides the admissions team an opportunity to meet the potential resident in person and determine if our initial assessment was accurate.
A completed application and other required documents are required prior to receiving residential and day program services.
Members of our health services, social services, and senior administrative staff evaluate completed applications. Once reviewed, the team works to determine admission status and a recommendation for level of care. An application review takes approximately one week once all required documents and the application are received.
Once an application has been approved, an intake/move in date is scheduled. On the day of intake, a meeting is held to gather all the necessary documents required for the new resident’s file. In addition, a brief orientation is provided for the new resident and their family.
All applicants who meet the specific admissions criteria of The Angelus will be considered for admission.
No person will be subjected to discrimination based on race, religion, national origin, age, gender, social status, payer source, or disability. The Angelus is operated in accordance with current federal, state, and local laws governing discrimination.
